Right now, HGTV viewers can enter for a chance to live in Chicago’s Trump International Hotel & Tower. The winner will get to spend a year in a posh pad on the 35th floor of the Trump Tower in downtown Chicago as part of the 2011 Urban Oasis Giveaway.

Decked in wall-to-wall luxury, the 1000-square-foot residence will be decorated for the occasion by famed HGTV designer Vern Yip. In an online Q&A session on HGTV’s website, Yip said his plans for the Chicago lofts will optimize the functionality of the space and take advantage of the spectacular views from every room in the unit.

The Trump Tower abode features an open concept floor plan with a gourmet kitchen and a large living room. It also has one bedroom, an en suite master bathroom and a powder room off the entry foyer. After he has worked his magic, Yip will turn the high-rise Chicago condos into a deluxe big city dwelling worthy of the Urban Oasis name. The unit will be appointed with an assortment of antique pieces and architectural relics that complement the condo’s contemporary design and Chicago locale.

In addition to residing in one of Chicago’s most sought-after downtown locations, the winner of HGTV’s Windy City Urban Oasis Giveaway will enjoy the five-star perks of living in the Trump Hotel and Tower—which includes a state-of-the-art health spa, sprawling fitness center, swimming pool and sauna, first-class dining and around-the-clock concierge services.

Anyone interested in playing the sweepstakes can enter to win two times a day through the first Friday in October on HGTV.com and FrontDoor.com (once per day each). The contest closes at 5pm on Oct. 7th. Tune in to HGTV this Saturday, August 27th at 7pm (central time zone) for a special show about the giveaway.
